Mid-Year Minutes and 2021 Board of Director Application Posted

Jan. 28, 2021 - The AMTA Board of Directors is the governing body for the American Mock Trial Association, which is composed of professors, lawyers, and academics from across the country.  Individuals must apply to become members of the Board of Directors.  The application period runs through March 1 each year.  If selected, new applicants serve a two year candidacy period before standing for a vote to become full members of the Board.  All members of the AMTA Board of Directors are unpaid volunteers. 

The application period for the AMTA Board of Directors is now open through March 1, 2021.  Anyone interested in becoming a member of the AMTA Board of Directors is encouraged to apply during the 2021 application period. Those interested should review Section 4.02 - 4.02.02 of the AMTA Bylaws for duties and application procedures. Applications must be submitted via the online form no later than midnight ​Central on March 1, 2021. The AMTA Board of Directors have posted the minutes from the Mid-Year conference call meeting. The conference call occurred on December 13, 2020. The full document can be found on the Board of Directors Meeting page. The minutes from the meeting include the results of each of the motions on the agenda.
