Apply to be an AMTA Representative
Oct. 2, 2018 - AMTA is seeking volunteers with tabulation room experience, who have not competed in AMTA for at least two years, to serve as AMTA Representatives in 2019. AMTA Reps are volunteers who travel to AMTA-sanctioned tournaments in February, March, and April to tabulate ballots, complete pairing cards, run pairings pursuant to the AMTA Tabulation Manual, conduct the judge training, assist with judge assignments, and ensure that all AMTA rules and procedures are followed throughout the tournaments. You can apply by filling out the application form here. The deadline to apply is November 1, 2018.
After that date, the applications will be reviewed by the Committee and applicants will be notified whether they have been chosen, and if chosen, will be notified of their assignments. AMTA Representatives are volunteers and are reimbursed for all travel expenses to, from and throughout their service to AMTA.
