AMTA Board of Directors Application Period Now Open
Jan. 25, 2023 - The AMTA Board of Directors is the governing body for the American Mock Trial Association, which comprises attorneys, professors, and other supporters of college mock trial from across the country. Individuals must apply to be permitted to stand for candidacy for the Board. The application period runs through March 1 each year. If selected, individuals serve a two-year candidacy period before standing for a vote to become full members of the Board. All members of the AMTA Board of Directors are unpaid volunteers.
The application period for Board candidacy is now open through March 1, 2023. Those interested should review Section 4.02 - 4.02.02 of the AMTA Bylaws for duties and application procedures. Applications must be submitted via the online form no later than midnight Central on March 1, 2023. No extensions to this deadline are permitted.
