AMTA Announces In-Person ORCS and Championship

AMTA Announces In-Person ORCS and Championship

Feb. 14, 2022 - Since July, AMTA has planned for the return of safe, in-person competition. Today, AMTA is delighted to announce it plans to hold Opening Round Championship Series (ORCS) tournaments in person this March, and the National Championship Tournament in Lancaster, Pennsylvania April 8-10. This decision is subject to change in light of the evolving public health circumstances and our hosts' ability to hold in-person competitions. Teams are encouraged to regularly check our website and social media channels for updates.

Because of the possibility that circumstances could dictate a return to virtual competition, teams qualifying for ORCS are encouraged to make cancellable and/or refundable travel arrangements where possible. Our Tabulation Director and Tournament Administration Committee are working hard to assign bid winning teams to ORCS competitions, but please be patient while that process unfolds. Please direct any questions or comments to the Tournament Administration Committee and/or AMTA President Brandon Harper. We hope to see you around the circuit soon!
