Current year cases may be distributed to student participants of one's own program and judges. Access to and copies of the case may not be provided to any other students or programs.
Past AMTA cases may be purchased for one year of internal use for $150. Any external use requires advance written permission, with licensing fees set by the AMTA Executive Committee based on the specifics of each requested use. For camps or other ventures that involve use of the case by non-AMTA members (e.g., high school students), an additional annual license fee is typically charged in the following increments:
$0 to $4999 in total fees collected from all participants: $50 (total $200);
$5,000 to $9,999 in total fees collected from all participants: $100 (total $250);
$10,000 to $14,999 in total fees collected from all participants: $150 (total $300);
$15,000 to $19,999 in total fees collected from all participants: $200 (total $350);
$20,000 to $24,999 in total fees collected from all participants: $250 (total $400);
$25,000 to $29,999 in total fees collected from all participants: $300 (total $450);
$30,000 or more in total fees collected from all participants: $350 (total $500).
"Fees collected" encompasses all fees, regardless of whether they are charged by a mock trial program or another entity.
