Apply to be a 2024 AMTA Representative!
Nov. 5, 2023 - AMTA is seeking volunteers with tabulation room experience, who have not competed in AMTA for at least two years, to serve as AMTA Representatives in 2024. As an AMTA Representative, you will be assigned with a co-AMTA Representative to attend AMTA sanctioned tournaments in February, March, and/or April. During your assignment, you and your co-AMTA Representative will be in charge of running the tabulation room and ensuring that all AMTA rules and procedures are followed. For more information and to apply online, you can go here. The deadline for applications is December 4, 2023. The Committee is always interested in first time reps, with relevant experience.
After that date, applications are reviewed by the Committee and applicants will be notified whether they have been chosen and - if chosen - will be notified of their assignments. Most tournaments will require travel, and AMTA Representatives are reimbursed for all travel expenses to, from, and throughout their service to AMTA in accordance with the AMTA Travel Policy.
