2017 Board of Director Application Period Open
Dec. 28, 2016 - The AMTA Board of Directors is the governing body for the American Mock Trial Association, which is composed of professors, lawyers, and academics from across the country. Individuals must apply to become members of the Board of Directors. The application period runs from January through March 1 each year. If selected, new applicants serve a two year candidacy period before standing for a vote to become full members of the Board. All members of the AMTA Board of Directors are volunteers.
The application period for the AMTA Board of Directors is now open through March 1, 2017. Anyone interested in becoming a member of the AMTA Board of Directors is encouraged to apply during the 2017 application period. Those interested should review Section 4.02 - 4.02.02 of the AMTA Bylaws for duties and application procedures. Applications must be submitted via e-mail to AMTA Secretary Michael Walsh no later than midnight Pacific on March 1, 2017.
