Sue Johnson
Sue is the Forensics Program Director at Patrick Henry College, where she oversees the mock trial, moot court, and civic debate programs. She began serving as an AMTA Representative in 2012 and became a member of the Board in 2019.  Prior to joining Patrick Henry, Sue worked as the State Coordinator for the Carolina Center for Civic Education, a nonprofit that organizes the statewide high school mock trial program in North Carolina.

Sue earned her B.A. (mathematics, chemistry minor, summa cum laude) and M.P.H. (nutrition, with honors) from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She worked part-time in health care while homeschooling four children, before switching careers to focus on civic education.
