Criminal Case Preview

Criminal Case Preview

Apr. 20, 2015 - Per tradition, the Criminal Case Committee has released a preview of the 2016 case problem.  Here is the announcement as it was read by Alex Bluebond at the Closing Ceremony of the 2015 National Championship Tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Blitz News Network is reporting the arrest of Midlands Gaming Commissioner Chase Covington and notorious casino owner Avery Bancroft. All signs indicate that bribery charges are forthcoming. Sources inside the Midlands Police Department indicate that the arrests are the result of a sting operation. Throughout the summer please check bnnmidlands.com and @bnnmidlands on Twitter for updates.

AMTA plans to release the 2016 case problem on or before August 15, 2015, to all schools that have registered to compete in 2016.  If you have any questions or concerns about the Criminal Case, please contact the Criminal Case Committee directly.
