Take care to register the number of teams that will actually compete at regionals. Teams registering after October 15, 2009 will be accepted only on a space-available basis. Teams that register late may not be able to compete in the same regional as timely registered teams from the same program and may have to travel a substantial distance to compete.
No credits will be given for regional cancellations after October 15, 2009.

The criteria used by the Regional Tournaments Committee to make regional assignments is available on AMTA ’s webpage. Decisions of the RTC are final.
REGIONAL ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE POSTED ON THE AMTA WEBPAGE. POSTING CONSTITUTES OFFICIAL NOTICE OF A TEAM ’S REGIONAL ASSIGNMENT. IT IS EACH INSTITUTION’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBPAGE FOR ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION AND UPDATES.
TENTATIVE REGIONAL ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE MADE AND POSTED BEFORE THANKSGIVING TO IDENTIFY PROBLEMS AND CONFLICTS. DO NOT MAKE TRAVEL PLANS UNTIL THE FINAL ASSIGNMENTS APPEAR. DO NOT MAKE TRAVEL PLANS FOR OPENING ROUND CHAMPIONSHIP SITES OR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT BEFORE QUALIFYING FOR THOSE EVENTS.
By becoming an AMTA member, each institution agrees to abide by all AMTA rules and policies as published on the AMTA website at www.collegemocktrial.org. Timely payment of the membership fee results in the institution being given a license to access and use the current mock trial case materials and rulebook to prepare for and compete in AMTA sanctioned tournaments. These materials may not be distributed to non- AMTA members or used for any other purpose without written permission from AMTA .
Entering your name on the line below constitutes acceptance of all terms outlined in this registration agreement. Failure to abide by the terms of registration may result in penalties. AMTA reserves the right to refuse registration to programs that have outstanding fee balances or have violated the terms of registration in the past.
