The Yale Mock Trial Association is pleased to announce the 15th Annual Yale Invitational to be held on December 4th-5th, 2010 on our campus in New Haven, CT.
For the last 15 years, the Yale Invitational has been one of the most competitive tournaments in the country, featuring many teams that competed at the AMTA National Championship, including the 2010 champion and runner-up, NYU and Harvard. This year's tournament will continue many of the greatest strengths of last year's. In 2009, 35 of the 40 teams at our invitational came from programs that went to ORCS. 17 of those teams came from programs that went to the National Championship Tournament. We're also planning on recruiting three-judge attorney panels so that no coaches are required for judging. The tournament will have 48 teams split into two divisions, like the AMTA National Championship.
The registration fee for the 2010 Yale Invitational is $150 per team. More information about the tournament will be posted at www.yale.edu/mocktrial as it becomes available.
