The Criminal Case Committee does not intend to release any new witnesses prior to ORCS because of the unusually short period between the last regional and first ORCS tournaments.

The Committee plans to release a limited set of changes after the final regional tournament for use at ORCS, and expects to issue further changes after ORCS for use at the National Championship Tournament.

The Tournament Administration Committee has established a policy for determining how waitlisted teams will be given assignments to regional tournaments if and when spots open. AMTA has experienced nearly a 10% growth in the number of teams registering for the 2010 regional tournaments. This is great news. Unfortunately, the growth was so significant as well as unexpected that AMTA cannot accommodate all of the teams that wish to register for regional tournaments at the present time. Per the vote of the Board of Directors at the AMTA Mid-Year Meeting, all teams will be permitted to have up to 10 eligible participants on the tournament roster for AMTA-sponsored tournaments (regionals, ORCS, Championship). The prior rule allowed only one team per program to list 10 individuals and limited the other teams in the program to a maximum of 8 students. All teams may now list 10 students.
