The Peacemaker Invitational Mediation Tournament
Platteville, WI
This event begins on Friday afternoon with a 4-hour training session that includes discussion of competition rules and procedures. The first of three rounds of competition will begin Friday evening. Rounds two and three will take place Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m. Team and individual awards will be presented at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Registration: $50 per team. Case materials consisting of general facts for five mediation scenarios will be available two weeks before the tournament.

SODAK Challenge Invitational Mediation Tournament
Vermillion, SD
The University of South Dakota Law School in Vermillion, South Dakota has graciously agreed to host the 1st Annual SODAK Challenge mediation invitational tournament which begins on Friday, September 28 starting with a 3½ hour mediation training session (11:30 a.m.). There will be a total of three rounds with the first round starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, the second round at 7:30 p.m. Friday, and the third round at 9 a.m. Saturday. Awards will be presented at a luncheon at 12 p.m. Saturday. There is no registration fee. The registration deadline is September 20, 2007.

Brenau University Invitational Mediation Tournament
Gainesville, GA
Brenau University (www.brenau.edu) in Gainesville, Georgia will be hosting its Fifth Annual Mock Mediation Invitational Tournament on October 5 and 6, 2007. This three-round tournament will also include opportunities for training for students and coaches with this year's focus on peacemaking skills.
Registration fees are $40.00 per team and include the awards luncheon on Saturday, October 6, 2007. Training begins at 1:00 pm on Friday and rounds will be held on Friday afternoon, Friday evening and Saturday morning. Space is limited, so register as early as possible.
