Tom has served as an attorney coach for the Eastern Kentucky University mock trial program since 2006. He is currently the Co-Chair of the AMTA Criminal Case Committee and a member of the AMTA Rules Committee.
In addition to coaching the EKU team, Tom has taught several other courses at EKU including Introduction to Law, Legal Research & Writing I and II, Constitutional Politics, and the Law and Politics of Civil Liberties. Prior to joining EKU, Tom practiced law at Fish & Neave (now part of Ropes & Gray), an intellectual-property firm in New York City, and served as the Director of the Office of Student Affairs at Brooklyn Law School.
