Dr. Georgie Ann Weatherby
Candidate (2013)
Dr Georgie Ann Weatherby completed her Ph.D. in Sociology in 1990 at the University of Washington. She was a Visiting Professor and Administrator at WSU Vancouver from 1989 to 1996. In 1996, she joined the faculty of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Gonzaga University. She has published numerous books and scientific journal articles, garnered teaching awards, and chaired and/or served on committees all the way up to the national level. For AMTA, she is currently assigned to the Tournament Administration Committee, the Site Selection and Host Communication Subcommittee, and she chairs the Ethics Committee. She has been the Head Coach of Gonzaga University Mock Trial since she founded the program in 1997.
